rob got me a fancy kitty drum carder for christmas. at first i was super mad that he spent so much money on me. but i have been wanting a drum carder for some time now. he did all the research about them and picked out the fancy kitty one for me. it does a fantastic job and i have a lot of fun using it. here are some batts i carded up!

well this is what i made. would i actually wear it? maybe. would i actually pay the price for that stuff? definitly not. but this fall is all about experiencing new things and having fun. i may try and find that outfit for much much cheaper. i was a redhead for many years, im currently blonde. this fall ill be going red again. everyone says it suits my freckled pale skin much better. but ill be using a natural hair dye so who knows how long that will last. i love white pumpkins! i would litter my porch with them but they are too dang expensive. knitting knitting knitting all fall and winter long. i got that coffee maker so i can have fresh brewed coffee right when i wake up. otherwise im partial to the french press. horror movies galore for october. i need to get a couch like that, ideally smaller to go in my craft room. but i need a place for friends to sit on craft night.

this was our engagement photo. we made a trip up to bailey where my parents have a cabin. my mothers side of the family was there and we had a bbq. it was the first time they met rob, well most of them. we ate, talked. we took a walk through the surrounding woody area, there is an old resturant/hotel that is for sale. there is a small lake right by it with a trail that cuts right through the center of it. its lined with trees. it seemed like a perfect place to capture ourselves.
